the heavenly world-the heavenly world-will fall; evam-in this way, the three Vedas are extensive, kshine-decrease, their merit is their merit; the mortal world-the mara-following the principles, anuprapannah, past age-death, birth-and-death, sensual pleasures, seeking, they obtain only benefit.

Thus, those who enjoy the vast pleasures of the world of sound and seek sensual pleasures by following the decline of their merits will only return to this world of death in the eternal state. In this way, they will attain the laws of the three Vedas only through birth and death.

Purport: One who reaches the higher worlds enjoys a long life and the best facilities for sense gratification. However, he is not allowed to remain there permanently. When the fruit of merit is complete, he is sent back to this earthly world. One who does not attain the perfection of knowledge as prescribed in the Vedanta-nutras (janmadyavyayatah), in other words, one who fails to understand Krishna, the cause of all causes, is hindered from achieving the ultimate goal of life. Thus, like a person riding on a merry-go-round, he is constantly going up and down, going to the higher worlds and coming back down. The essence is that instead of reaching the spiritual world from which there is no possibility of coming down, man simply revolves in the higher and lower worlds in the cycle of birth and death. It would be better for him to go to the spiritual world to experience eternal life, full of bliss and knowledge, and never return to this sorrowful material world.
