Purport: In these two verses, Edit89

the Lord God is giving an opportunity to the Mayavada philosophers after hearing the four main verses of the Bhagavad Gita in this chapter. Because it is clear here that the Lord is different from the individual living entity, he completely freed himself from all doubts and accepted Lord Krishna as the Lord God. Immediately he boldly declared, “You are Parabrahman, the Lord God.” Lord Krishna has already said that He is the source of all worship and of all. Every deity, every human being is dependent on Him. But they think that He is nothing. By performing devotional service, this ignorance is completely removed, and humans and deities, in ignorance, realize that they are perfect and dependent on the Lord. This has already been explained by the Lord in the last verse. Now, out of the mercy of the Lord, Arjuna accepts Him, the essence of the Vedas, as the Supreme Truth. Since Krishna is his close friend, Arjuna does not flatter him by calling Him the Supreme Personality of Godhead or the Supreme Being. It is one of the nine forms of devotion. Only through devotion to Krishna can a person understand his position and be liberated from this material body. This

In the Vedas, God is accepted as the purest of the pure. One who understands that Krishna is the purest of the pure becomes purified from all sins. No one can be free from sins unless he surrenders to the Supreme Lord. Arjuna’s acceptance of Krishna as the purest of the pure is in perfect harmony with the Vedas. This has also been confirmed by great men. Among those great men, Narada is the chief.

Lord Krishna is the God of gods. A devotee should constantly meditate on Him and enjoy the divine relationship with Him. God is eternal, without any physical changes like birth and death. Not only Arjuna but also all the Vedic literature
