. This body is a gift of material nature. One who is too attached to the body is called a fool, that is, a lazy person who has no self-realization. Ignorant people consider the body to be the soul, and they consider bodily relations with others as kinship. The place where the body is found is the object of worship for them. They consider the purpose of religious activities to be the performance of religious duties. Social service, nationalism, and charity are some of the activities of people with such attachments. Under the influence of such attachments, they are a medium, and they have no interest in them. However, in spiritual life, they are always immersed in the material realm. It is better for such people to experience spiritual feelings and engage in spiritual activities quietly. Those who are deluded and have developed their knowledge should not disturb such worldly people. A person can be established in basic ethical principles such as non-violence and benevolence.
The ignorant cannot understand the activities of Krishna consciousness. Therefore, Lord Krishna advises us not to waste time disturbing them. But because they know the purpose of the Lord very well, the devotees are more compassionate than the Lord. Therefore, they go to the ignorant and try to establish them in the activities of Krishna consciousness, which are most necessary for a human being.

May the All-pervading Karmani, the Sannyasyadhyatma, be the one who is
mayi – to me; sarvani – all kinds of; karmani – activities; sannyasya – completely surrendered; adhyatma – with full self-knowledge; chetasa – consciously; anesitah – without desire for gain; nirmamah – without attachment; bhutva – being; yuddhyasva – having to fight; vigatajvarah – without intoxication.
Therefore, Arjuna! With complete knowledge of Me, without desire for gain or attachment, surrender all your actions to Me, abandon complacency and fight.
Rāśyam: This verse clearly indicates the purpose of the Bhagavad-gītā. To perform one’s duty in military discipline, one must be fully Krishna conscious.
The Lord is instructing. Even if such an order makes the situation somewhat difficult, one should perform the duties of dependence on Lord Krishna. Because that is the royal state of the living entity. The eternal natural state of the living entity is to be dependent on the desires of the Lord, and without the cooperation of that God, he cannot be happy. That is why Arjuna was ordered by Lord Krishna, like a general, to fight. For the pleasure of the Lord, everyone should sacrifice everything and at the same time perform the duties of the Supreme Being without any ego. Arjuna did not have to think about the Lord’s order. He just had to implement it. The Supreme Being is the soul of all souls. Therefore, one who completely depends on the One Self without any thoughts of his own, that is, one who is completely in the state of devotion, is called a spiritual soul. “Nirāṣīḥ” means that one should work only as per the order of the master and not expect results. A clerk who counts money does not claim even a single penny as his own even if he counts lakhs of rupees for his master. Similarly, one should realize that nothing in this world belongs to any individual, but everything belongs to God. That is the real meaning of “mayi” (mine). When one works in such Krishna consciousness, one does not show any attachment to anything. This consciousness is called “nirmama” (nothing is mine). If there is any reluctance to carry out such a strict order without any thought for even the nominal relatives in the family, it should be immediately abandoned. Accordingly, the worker becomes “vigatajvara” (free from agitation, free from intoxication). Everyone has to perform a specific work according to his mode and condition. All such work should be performed in Krishna consciousness, as if covered above. That is what leads man towards the path of liberation
What is the religion of the eternal human being? If you cultivate it with devotion and devotion, you will attain karma. Those who; me – my; matman – the injunctions; idam – this; nityam – as a regular act; anutivri – have duly performed; manavah
