In this chapter, Lord Krishna hascways to cof Godhead, devotional service to Him is the highest of all. It is not only the most direct, but also the easiest method for attaining union with God.

satata – always: you; paryupanale – again; aksharam – in the heart; ke – anyone;

Established or perfect?

Beyond, the spiritual realm is situated in various hells. In the meditation of Brahma

In the world, devotional yoga is what truly makes a man

He is asking whether they are materialists or immaterialists.

The Lord has explained in the second chapter of the Bhagavad-gita that the living entity is not a material body, but a spiritual particle. The Supreme Personality of Godhead is the spiritual Absolute. The living entity is a part of that Absolute, and the Lord has said in the seventh chapter that he should completely focus his attention on the Absolute. It is again said in the eighth chapter that one who remembers Krishna at the time of leaving the body will soon reach the spiritual sky, that is, the Krishna world. The Lord has clearly stated at the end of the sixth chapter that one who constantly thinks of himself in the inner world is the most perfect of all yogis. That is, it is said in summary in every chapter that a person should be interested in the physical form of Krishna. Because that is the highest spiritual experience.

However, there are some who are not attached to the physical form of Lord Krishna. They are so strongly disinterested that even in writing commentaries on the Bhagavad-gita, they try to divert people from Krishna and direct all their devotion to the immaterial Brahman. They want to meditate on the immaterial principle of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, which is not accessible to the senses and is unmanifest.

So there are two classes of spiritualists in reality. Arjuna is now trying to solve the question of which method is easier and which of these classes is the most perfect. In other words, he is clarifying his position because he is attached to the incarnation of Lord Krishna. He is not attached to the impersonal Brahman. He wants to know whether his position is secure or not. Whether in the material world or in the spiritual world of God, the impersonal principle is like a problem for meditation. In fact, man cannot properly understand the impersonal principle of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore, what is the benefit of such a waste of time? Arjuna wanted to ask. Arjuna had already experienced in the Eleventh Chapter that it is best to be attached to the incarnation of Lord Krishna. Because in that way he will not only understand all the other forms simultaneously but his love for Krishna will not be disturbed in any way. This important question
we devote ourselves to the service of the Lord, we will attain eternal life.

Sri Bhagavan Uvaca – Lord Krishna spoke; mayi – upon me; avesyah – fixing; manah – the mind; ye – who; maam – me; nitya – is it all; yuktaah – are established; upasate – in offering; sraddhaya – with devotion; paraya – divine; upetaah – being united; te – they; me – by me; yuktatamah – as the most perfect in yoga; matah – are considered.

Lord Krishna said: I consider those who are always established in worshipping Me with supreme and divine devotion, fixing their minds on My physical form, to be the most perfect.

Purport: In answer to Arjuna’s question, Lord Krishna clearly stated that one who concentrates his attention on His physical form and worships Him with devotion is considered the most perfect in yoga. For one who is in such Krishna consciousness, there are no material activities because everything is done for Krishna alone. A pure devotee is constantly engaged in service. Sometimes he chants, sometimes he listens or reads scriptures about Krishna, sometimes he prepares prasadam or goes to the market to buy something for Krishna, sometimes he builds a temple or cleans the eating utensils. Whatever he does, he never spends a moment without doing Krishna’s work. Such action is in complete samadhi.
