do not have faith in those words. Some others, even though they are interested in scriptures like the Bhagavad-gita, do not believe in or worship the Supreme Lord, Lord Krishna. Such people have no place in Krishna consciousness. They fall down. Of all those who have been told that money is due, those who are not interested and are full of doubts cannot make any progress. No good thing happens to people who do not have faith in God and His word, either in this world or in the next. They have no face. That is why a person should diligently follow the rules of the authentic scriptures and thus reach the knowledge. Only this knowledge helps a person in reaching the divine word of spiritual realization. In other words, people who are full of doubts have no chance of spiritual liberation. That is why one should follow the teachings of the great teachers in the Guru Parampara and achieve success in that way.

The work of yoga sannyasa is a work of knowledge, a work of self-realization, a work of self-realization, a work of wealth.

Yoga – by devotional service in the yoga of action; sannyastha – one who has renounced; karmanam – the results of actions; jnana – by knowledge; sanchinna – having rejected; samsayam – doubts; atmavantam – remaining in the self; karmani – actions; na nibadhnanti – not binding; dhananjaya – O conqueror of wealth.

He who abandons the fruits of his actions and engages in devotional yoga, who has conquered all doubts through divine knowledge, is truly established in the Self. O Dhananjaya! He is not bound by the fruits of his actions.

Syam: One who follows the instructions of the Bhagavad-gita, as spoken by the Supreme Lord Himself, becomes free from all doubts by the mercy of transcendental knowledge. In the consciousness of the Supreme Lord – Krishna consciousness, he is already situated in self-knowledge. Therefore, he is naturally free from the bonds of action.

The mind is filled with knowledge and wisdom, and the mind is filled with knowledge and wisdom.

Tasmat is therefore; ajñāna-sambhūtam, ignorance, born of migration, hritvam – that which is in the heart; jñāna – knowledge; asīna – with the sword; atmanah – standing at the highest point of the soul; Uttarna rises and fights; Bharata, O Bharata, having destroyed the mind; enaṃ – this doubt – doubt, yoga – yogas are the descendants.

Therefore, O Bharata, you must rise up and fight, smiting with the swords of knowledge the doubts that arise in the heart due to ignorance.

Purport: The yoga system taught in this chapter is called Sanatana Yoga, or eternal actions performed by the living entity. In this yoga, there are two classes of sacrificial acts. One is called the sacrifice of material possessions, and if the sacrifice of material possessions is not combined with spiritual experience, it is material; the other is called the pure spiritual act of self-knowledge. But one who performs such sacrifices with a spiritual aim, that is, with devotional yoga, performs a perfect sacrifice. Now, if we take spiritual acts, we find that they are also divided into two. They are understanding the self (one’s natural state) and understanding the truth about God. One who follows the path of the Bhagavad-gita as it is can easily understand these two important classes of spiritual knowledge. It is not at all difficult for him to attain perfect knowledge of the self as the divine. Such understanding is very beneficial. Because such a person can easily understand the divine activities of the Lord. In the beginning of this chapter, the divine activities of the Lord were discussed by the Lord Himself. One who does not understand the instructions of the Gita is a heedless person. He is considered to be abusing the subtle freedom given by the Lord. One who, despite all these instructions, cannot understand the real nature of the Supreme Lord as the eternal, blissful, and omniscient Lord is certainly a fool. Ignorance is removed by gradually accepting the principles of Krishna consciousness. Krishna consciousness is awakened through the sacrifice of various types of deity sacrifices, the sacrifice of the Supreme Brahma, and the sacrifice of celibacy, household life, sense control, yoga practice, penance, renunciation of material possessions, study of the Vedas, and the system of varnasramadharma. All these are sacrifices.
