Their comments are useless The comments given by the devotees of the Lord are authentic. If a person is jealous, he cannot explain the Bhagavad-gita, nor does he have perfect knowledge of Krishna. He who criticizes Krishna’s nature without knowing Him is a fool. Therefore, such comments should be carefully avoided. These chapters will be very beneficial for one who understands that Krishna is the supremely pure, divine Personality of Godhead.
The knowledge of the king is the most sacred, the most sacred, the most direct, the most righteous, the most happy, the most profitable.
Rajavidya – the king of knowledge; Rajaguhyam – the king of secrets; Pavitram – the most sacred; Idam – this; Uttamam – divine; Dham – through direct experience; Avagamam – understood; Dharmyam – righteousness; Susukham – very pleasant; Kartum – to perform; Avyayam – eternal.
This knowledge is the most secret of all the royal sciences and secrets. It is the most sacred knowledge. It is the perfection of virtue because it gives the direct experience of the soul through clear understanding. It is eternal and is happily maintained.
Commentary: Because of the essence of all the principles and principles explained earlier,
This chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is called the Rajavidya. Among the major philosophers of India are Gautama, Kanada, Kapila, Yajnavalkya, Sandilya, and Vaishnava. Finally, there is Vyasa, the author of the Vedanta Sutra. Therefore, there is no dearth of knowledge in the field of philosophy or spiritual knowledge. The Lord now says that this ninth chapter is the king of all such knowledge, that is, of all the essence of knowledge that is obtained through the study of the Vedas and the study of various philosophical systems. The secret or divine knowledge involves knowing the difference between the soul and the body, so it is the most secret. That which is the king of all secret knowledge leads to the highest state of devotional service.
People are generally not educated in this secret knowledge; they
They are educated in external knowledge only. As far as general education is concerned, people have various branches like politics, sociology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, astronomy, and engineering. Although there are many branches of knowledge and many big universities all over the world, unfortunately there is no university or educational institution that teaches about the soul. Yet the soul is the most important part of the body. Without the soul, the body has no value. Yet people do not know the soul, which is the basis of life.
They give more importance to the needs of the body without paying attention to them. The Bhagavad Gita, especially from the second chapter, emphasizes the importance of the soul. The Lord says in the beginning that the body is perishable, but the soul is immortal (astavanta ime deha nityasyoktaha saririnu). The secret knowledge is to know that the soul is different from this body and that its nature is changeless, imperishable, and eternal. But this does not give any definite information about the soul. Sometimes people think that the soul is different from the body and that when the body is destroyed or the living entity is liberated from the body, it remains in the void and becomes formless. But in reality this is not true. How can the soul, which is very active while in this body, become inactive when liberated from the body? It is always active. If it is eternal, it will be always active. Its activities in the spiritual world are part of the most secret spiritual knowledge. That is why these activities of the soul are referred to here as the king of all knowledge, that is, the most secret part of all knowledge.
This knowledge is the sacred form of all karmas, as explained in the Vedic literature. In the Padma Purana, the sins of man are analyzed and shown as the consequences of successive sinful actions. Those who are involved in fruitive actions are entangled in various levels and forms of sins. For example, when a tree is planted, the tree does not grow immediately, it takes some time. First it sprouts, then takes the form of a tree, and then it flowers and bears fruit. When that is complete, the people who planted the tree seed enjoy those flowers and fruits. Similarly, when a man does a sinful action, like a seed, it takes time to ripen. There are various states in it. Even if the sinful passion has already stopped, the results of those sins or the fruit of those sins
