Commentary: The Bhagavad Gita is a widely read theistic science. It is the Gita

It is summarized in the Mahatmya (Gita Mahima). It is said that a person should read the Bhagavad Gita objectively with the help of a devotee of Krishna and try to understand it without any personal interpretations. Arjuna heard the Gita directly from the Lord and understood the teachings. This analogy is present in the Bhagavad Gita to gain a clear understanding. If anyone is fortunate enough to understand the Bhagavad Gita without any self-conceived interpretations in that Guru-Shishyavarampara, he will be able to extol all the Vedic knowledge, all the = Shastras of the world. The reader will find in the Bhagavad Gita not only things that are found in other Shastras but also things that are not found anywhere else. This is the unique authenticity of the Gita. Directly through the Lord Krishna, the Supreme Lord

Because of its popularity, it has become a complete spiritual science.

The dialogues of Dhritarastra and Sanjaya, as described in the Mahabharata, are the basic principles of this great philosophy. It is known that this philosophy originated in Kurukshetra, a place of pilgrimage since the ancient Vedic times. When God Himself was in this world, He spoke it for the guidance of humanity.

The word Dharmakshetra (place of unrighteous deeds) is important because the Lord was on Arjuna’s side in the Kurukshetra battlefield. Dhritarashtra, the father of the Kauravas, was very doubtful about the ultimate victory of his sons. With that doubt, he asked his secretary Sanjaya, “What have they done?” He knew that his sons and the sons of his brother Pandu had gathered on the Kurukshetra battlefield with the determination to fight. Still, it was very important for him to make that inquiry. He did not want a compromise between the two brothers. He also wanted to know what the fate of his sons was on the battlefield. Still, since the battle was held in Kurukshetra, which is mentioned in the Vedas as a place of worship even for the inhabitants of heaven, he was very afraid of the influence of that holy place on the outcome of the war. He knew very well that it would have a positive effect on Arjuna and the other Pandusutas, who were inherently pious.

Sanjaya was a disciple of Vyasa. Therefore, even though he was in Dhritarashtra’s palace, he was able to see the battlefield of Kurukshetra by Vyasa’s grace. Therefore, Dhritarashtra asked him about the situation on the battlefield.

“The Pandavas and the sons of Dhritarashtra belonged to the same clan. But Dhritarashtra’s mind was revealed here. He deliberately separated the descendants of Pandu from the clan by declaring only his sons as Kuruvamshis. In this way, anyone can understand the relationship between Dhritarashtra and the Pandusuts, that is, his brother’s descendants. It was anticipated from the very beginning that Duryodhana’s Dhritarashtra and his sons, like weeds, would be uprooted from the Dharmakshetra in Kurukshetra, where the father of Dharma, Sri Krishna, was standing, and that the Dharmaraja’s Varamadharmayutas would become well-respected by God. In addition to their historical and Vedic importance, the words Dharmakshetra and Kurukshetra have this special meaning.

sanjayaḥ uvāca – Sanjaya spoke; drishtva – after seeing; tu pradhanai kondavanikam Pandava army; vyudham – strategically arranged; kamu duryodhanaḥ king Duryodhana; tada then; acharyam upasangamya – went near; raja – king; avantha – words; abraveet – speech

Seeing the army that had been drawn up, King Duryodhana said to his son Sanjaya: “O king! Through the Pandit, he has approached Era with cunning and spoken these words.”
