are given. He fulfills his desires. But in reality, all those benefits are only due to my being so attentive that he worships a particular deity and

belongs to the Lord, the gods do not forget. Meaning: The gods do not give their devotees boons without the permission of the Lord. Worshipping the gods and obtaining the desired results are not due to the gods, but are due to the arrangement of the Lord. A living entity with little intelligence does not know this. That is why he foolishly approaches the gods for some benefit. But a pure devotee prays to the Lord only when he needs something. However, material desires are not the characteristic of a pure devotee. Since the living entity is anxious to satisfy his desires, he usually goes to the gods. This happens when the living entity desires and the Lord Himself does not fulfill it. It is said in the Caitanya Charitamrita that if a person worships the Lord and at the same time desires material pleasures, he becomes a person with two desires. Devotional service to the Lord and worship of the deities are not on the same level. This is because the deity’s work is material, whereas devotional service to the Lord is completely spiritual.

Material desires become obstacles to a living being who desires to go to the abode of the Lord. Therefore, the material benefits desired by the low-intelligence living beings are not given to the pure devotee. Therefore, the low-intelligence living beings prefer to worship the demigods in the material world rather than to engage in devotional service to the Lord.
The fruit of the universe is the fruit of the universe. | The Lord is the God of the gods, the devotee is the Lord of the gods.

The uninitiated perish; tu – but; phalam – fruit; teshaam – they give it; bhavati – becomes; alpamedhasam – those with little intelligence, to the deva; devayajah – the worshippers of the deva; yanti – go; mat – my devotees; yanti come; maam – to me; api — 5. –

Ignorant people worship

They are temporary and temporary. Those who worship the gods go to the worlds of the gods, but my devotees ultimately reach my heavenly world.

Other: Some Bhagavad Gita Nityatas say that a worshipper of deities reaches God. But a worshipper of deities goes to different worlds where the respective deities are, or a worshipper of the moon reaches the moon world. This is clearly stated here. For example, a worshipper of the sun goes to the sun world, and if someone worships Indra in the same way as Sri, he attains that world of deities. Moreover, it does not mean that everyone who worships a deity reaches God. This is rejected here. Because it is said in the olden days that worshippers of deities go to different worlds in the material world, but a person who sees God goes directly to the heavenly world of God.

The argument is raised here that if the deities are different parts of the body of the Lord, then by offering them, equal results are obtained. However, the caste worshippers are ignorant. Because they do not know which part of the body to feed. Some of them speak very foolishly and say that there are many parts and many ways to provide food. This is not nutritious. Can anyone provide food to the body through the ears and eyes? They do not know that all these deities are different parts of the form of the Lord. Out of ignorance, they think that each deity is a separate God and a rival to the Godhead.

Not only the gods, but also ordinary living beings are parts of God.

Dum.

It is said in the Srimad Bhagavatam that the Brahmins are the head of the God, the Kshatriyas are his shoulders, the Vaishyas are his belly, the Shudras are his feet, and all of them perform different functions. If a man, without any regard for status, knows that he and the gods are parts of God, his knowledge becomes perfect. But if he cannot understand this, he will attain different worlds where the gods reside. This is not the destination to be reached.

In this material world, the worlds, the gods, and their worshippers are all perishable, and therefore the fruits obtained through the boons of the gods are perishable. Therefore, it is clearly stated in this verse that the fruits obtained through worship of the gods are perishable, and that such worship is done by a person of little intelligence. A devotee who is engaged in devotional service of the Lord with devotional feeling is full of knowledge.
