It is impermanent. It does not change like the body. Sometimes it is called the supreme being. God grows and creates others, gradually diminishes, and finally merges with time, but the soul does not undergo such changes. The soul is not born, but it receives the body, so the body is born. Here the soul is not born, so it does not have death. Whatever has birth, there is a death for it. The soul has no birth, so there is no past, present, or future, it is eternal, eternal, ancient. There is no historical evidence of when it came into existence. In the concept of the body, we want to know the history of the soul’s birth and death, as the body is old, the soul never gets old, that is why even a nominally old person has the same enthusiasm as in his childhood or youth. Changes in the body do not affect the soul, it does not decay like a tree or any other material thing. It does not create others, and the offspring born from the body are also different individual beings. Yet because of the body they appear as the offspring of one person. The soul grows because of the existence of the soul, but it has no offspring or offspring. Therefore the soul is free from the six changes that occur in the body. It is. It is born from the mother’s womb, remains for some time and
We find a similar verse in the Katho Upanishad
It says thus:
The body is always eternal, and the body is always laughing, and the body is laughing.
Although the meaning and commentary of this verse are the same as those in the Bhagavad Gita, it contains a special word “vicharchit”. It means a scholar or a wise person.
The soul is full of knowledge or is always conscious. Therefore, consciousness is the moment of the soul. Even if the soul cannot be found in the heart, the place where the soul resides, a person can know the existence of the soul due to the consciousness. Sometimes, due to rain or some other reason, we see the sun in the sky.
