In this video, I will show you a beautiful lyrical video editing tutorial done completely using null layer animations and keyframe bases. Before we start, please like the video to support me and get an idea of how to learn something new. You can see that the overall video looks great, and if you want to experience the complete feel, I will share the video link on my WhatsApp channel or definitely on Instagram, so please check it out there. If you do not have the Alight Motion app or if you are facing any import issues, check out the links provided below.

First, I will show you my editing work and then give you an idea of how you can create it yourself. If you don’t have Alight Motion or Ultra Motion, I will keep posting them on Telegram, so check them out. I have used a multi-layered project here, including several photos. As I mentioned before, everything is based on the null layer; the animations are small and simple but look perfect. The final video will have ink videos and effects mixed together. I also added some box layers and a blur effect in between, which looks better when adjusted. Make sure that the background doesn’t merge with your photos; the layers you add on top should stand out clearly. At the starting point, select your photo and link it to the null layer.

You need to do this for every single photo. I have explained null layers thoroughly in my full Alight Motion tutorial course video, so watch that if you need help. The rest is based entirely on keyframe animation. Open a new project, add your song, and extract it. Setting up the beat marks is very crucial here. There are several beat marks you must place perfectly to make your editing easier. Go to media, add your first photo, adjust its position, and zoom in. Then, add a null object from the elements section and parent your photo to the null layer. Now your photo will move along with the null layer.

✨ IMAGE PROMPT
A Uploaded image Create an ultra-realistic, cinematic close-up portrait of a rugged, masculine man wearing a black baseball cap with a subtle embroidered logo, sleek black aviator sunglasses, and a black collared shirt. He has a thick, well-groomed black beard, realistic skin texture, and a serious, confident expression. His head is slightly tilted downward, facing toward the left side of the frame, creating a mysterious and powerful personality. Composition: Vertical 2:3 poster format, extreme close-up side profile, with the subject occupying the right two-thirds of the frame. The left side features clean, bright white negative space. The cap slightly shadows the eyes, while the nose, lips, beard, and cheekbones are sharply detailed. Lighting: Dramatic high-contrast studio lighting, soft bright light from the upper left, deep shadows beneath the cap and along the jawline, realistic highlights on the skin, sunglasses, and beard. Pure white background with a subtle cinematic editorial finish. Typography: Add the word “Rc17” in large, bold, flowing deep-red handwritten brush-script lettering across the lower third of the image. Use expressive calligraphic strokes, elegant curves, and long sweeping flourishes. The lettering should overlap slightly with the black shirt while remaining highly legible. Style and quality: Photorealistic photography, luxury fashion campaign, masculine editorial poster, dark monochromatic wardrobe, rich blacks, natural skin pores, highly detailed facial hair, realistic fabric texture, sharp focus, professional studio photography, dramatic tonal contrast, 8K detail, polished commercial finish. Negative prompt: cartoon, anime, illustration, CGI appearance, plastic skin, excessive retouching, blurry face, distorted anatomy, extra facial features, malformed sunglasses, poorly rendered beard, oversaturated colors, cluttered background, unwanted text, misspelled typography, watermark, low resolution.

To add lyrics, copy the text from Google and paste it here. Change the font, add shadows, and link the text layer to the null layer as well so everything animates together.

Go to move and transform, add keyframes at the beginning, adjust them, and zoom the null layer. To add multiple photos smoothly, go to edit shape, reduce the size, duplicate the layer, cut the extra part, and replace the photos. Arrange these photos according to their placements and add text over them. This gives a highly attractive look. If you want a better understanding, please rewatch the video. Explaining everything in detail takes a lot of time, so check out my full Alight Motion tutorial if you have doubts, or leave a comment. If you have import issues, use the XML file. Jai Hind!
